5-7-2009 I know many of you must have been worried because this website has not been updated in a while. Needless to say, there have been many happenings since you last heard from me. Every thing will be explained in due time. First of all, work on our newest demo was delayed when the band was waylaid by pirates while on a cruise in the Caribbean. Things looked bleak until Dan managed to get a hold on his guitar and melt all of their faces off. No animals were hurt in the process. More delays followed when the band was kidnapped and taken to a secret island for a martial arts death-match tournament. It turns out that Chuck Norris was behind this; his jealousy of Dan's beard was the impetus for the kidnapping and the tournament. The consequent battle between Dan's beard and the beard of Mr. Norris sent out cosmic shockwaves that caused a downward shift in all of the world's major economies. The biggest challenge yet came next when Kyle spontaneously disintegrated from the sheer awesomeness of the two greatest beards in recorded history battling. Henry and Dan were extremely distressed at this point, canceling all of the Elkboy shows for the foreseeable future. No one could have known that Kyle still existed as an intangible entity, a formless intelligence floating through space and time. During the rest of the year while the two band members who still had human bodies were traveling the world as gypsies, Kyle was working on reconstituting a human form. From talking to him now we have learned that being incorporeal is actually really great, you just can't play drums without a body. Therefore, with the sole purpose of existing to play the drums, Kyle began to piece himself together. On February 14, a floating guch was seen by someone walking down High Street. Two weeks later, a disembodied bat wing alarmed a group of civilians strolling through Riverfront Park. It wasn't until mid-April until Kyle reappeared in the parking lot of Denny's. Now everything is back to normal and Elkboy is rocking harder than ever. Make sure to stay tuned for new shows and new tunes in the coming months. Abrazos --Elk-Frodi--
7-1-2008 I haven't updated this for awhile because, with the facebook and the myspace group, I am not sure that anyone actually goes to this website for vital information. In the case that my assumption is false, here is the news: we are playing two shows in Pottstown in the near future. Fourth of July in Memorial Park and July 18th at the Swamp Pike Pub. We are exited to play in our hometown and hope that we see many of our friends out there. We are also booking for the fall, so please spread the word about our band so that it will keep growing and we can play in bigger, better venues. Peace --Elk-Frodi--
11/30/2007 Dear Elk lovers, Thank you to everyone who came out and made the show at Hiesters Lanes a scrumtrulescent experience. We have a couple more shows coming up, check out the shows section. Exciting news: during the winter break from our higher education, we will be trying to create some recordings of music that will be worthy of reproducing and circulating throughout the general population of this rock that we call Earth. Yes, I am talking about a compact disc. Now you have something to look forward to. In this world filled with uncertainties, disappointments, and sea monsters of various sizes, know this: we will work to bring you a recording of sounds that will make life worth living again. Until then, know that we love you both in a filial and sexual way.

11/14/2007 Hola, for those of you who missed the Halloween show let it be known: you missed what has been called by many of those in attendance "the best Elkboy show to date." You should not, however, kill yourself out of shame/guilt/regret. Elkboy will be playing again on Thanksgiving Eve. The specific information will be up soon; be aware, this is projected to supercede the last show and become the new best Elkboy show to date. In light of this, I expect everyone who reads this to make sure that they drop everything that they are doing and come to witness our offering to the Rock Gods on the Eve of Thanksgiving.

10/18/2007 Salutations, in two weeks Elkboy is going to be playing a Halloween show on November 2 (more info in shows section). Tell everyone you know about it because it is going to be glorious. There is nothing else significant to report. We are continuing to write new songs and also are adding a few covers to our repertoire to make our sets more beefy and satisfying. Hasta Luego

Some links will only lead you to dead ends and frustration, while others will lead to tasty morsels of information about the band Elkboy. In the coming days and weeks; this website should grow into a beautiful and vibrant manifestation of what Elkboy is, so check back regularly.
